for almost four decades we have been welcoming you to our cosy Gästehaus Arnold in Sölden. In the heart of the Ötztal valley, where sport enthusiasts meet nature lovers and lifestyle fans, you find a quiet place for your holiday in our guesthouse. The Gästehaus Arnold is situated a little bit above Sölden in a wonderfully sunny and quiet, but nevertheless central location. In winter we are amidst the ski resort, in summer you can start wonderful tours right in front of our house. Moreover, the vivid town centre of Sölden with all its shops, restaurants, and bars is not far away.
Whether families, friends, couples or single travellers – in the Gästehaus Arnold we have the right resting place for everybody. Our single rooms, double rooms and apartments provide a hospitable holiday home to feel at ease and relax. Cosy and neat, a welcoming combination of modern comfort and traditional style - this is what characterises our Gästehaus Arnold in Sölden.
Approximately 2,000 m above sea level, our rustic alpine chalet is located amidst nature. With a fantastic view of the Ötztal valley's mountain world and Sölden, this is a place where you will find calm and tranquility. Thanks to the 4 star hotel and other little alpine huts, which are also located on the Gaislachalm alp, you can enjoy a sociable framework with evening programmes ,á la carte restaurants and more. Only if you want, of course. Otherwise, you can simply enjoy the stunning nature around you and benefit from the nearby skiing and hiking area Gaislachkogel.
In winter the Ötztal valley is dominated by winter sports. Sölden is regarded as an eldorado for skiing, where action is going on not only on the slope. Our Gästehaus Arnold is located just above the vivid centre of Sölden, but has a great connection to the nearby ski slopes. Those who desire variety, find all options in the Ötztal valley - for example cross-country skiing, snow-shoe hiking, winter hiking, tobogganing or even ice climbing.
In summer, the Ötztal is a paradise for sport enthusiasts and nature lovers, which thrills its visitors with variety. You have all possibilities from unhurried hikes in the valley to tours to the highest mountains of the Ötztal valley - 250 mountains are over 3,000 metres high here. Moreover, the Ötztal valley becomes increasingly popular among mountain bikers and downhill riders.
